With over 180 million registered users, MapleStory has been one of Nexon’s most successful games, and the new blockchain ecosystem will further expand the game’s already robust in-game economy through NFT-based items.
Nexon is set to build a dedicated Polygon Supernet to meet the complex requirements of the massively online gaming experience of MapleStory Universe. The new blockchain will enable players to earn and collect NFT items through gameplay, unlocking various benefits or utility across the ecosystem.
